I've always been afraid of "getting old," but the older I get, the more grateful I am for my experiences and the things that I have learned along the way. One of my most favorite things I've learned through experience is that not all relationships are meant to last forever and that's okay… Even the temporary relationships serve their purpose.
Every person, relationship, and interaction will serve its purpose in life to you. Some may last years, some may only last minutes. Some you'll think about often, and some you may not even remember…
Just because you are loyal, doesn't ensure that you can expect loyalty in return from others. Loyalty is hard to come by. When you meet someone loyal, hold onto that relationship forever; lose loyalty and let go. It's okay to let go of things: relationships, jobs, cities, etc. Things serve its purpose… And now you are ready to move onto something new. Don't block yourself from something beautiful that is meant to come into your life. Having said that, don't give up on people or things either if they mean something to you.
I don't know about you, but I know about me… Most of my life thus far, I've thought of all the things I want to spend my money on. I can still think of expensive purses, shoes, cars, houses, etc. on the drop of a nail (don't get me wrong), but I'm getting to the age that I think of "spending" anything, I think about "spending" time with the people that matter most to me.
In conclusion, money makes me happy temporarily and I have done many amazing things because of money, but I assure you, the most valuable attribute that you have in life is your time… So spend your money on useless things and people, but don't spend your time on useless things and useless people.
Peace, love and happiness.
